Our school website aims to provide information about our school whether you are a member of our school community, a parent considering Blue Coat as a school for your child or a prospective member of the school staff.

 

At Blue Coat School we aim to create a happy, lively and stimulating place of learning where every child is able to achieve and enjoy in a secure environment. We equip children with the skills needed for later life by developing confidence and independence and providing them with the foundations of learning on which to build their future achievements.

 

Our school is situated in the heart of the attractive town of Wotton-under-Edge. It has a rich history as the oldest school in the area but moved to its current site in 2000 and benefits from a new, spacious and superbly equipped building. We are extremely well supported by talented staff, governors, parents and community in providing our pupils with the best possible start to life. This site aims to convey a taste of these experiences. However, the best way to find out about us is to visit on a normal school day.
