On the weekend of the 26th June 2010, the Outdoor club went camping to Red Wood. We played wide games, went bat detecting, cooked over fires, felled a tree and made wooden tools and instruments with the timber. The weather was fantastic. We need to say a big thank you to Liz and the ECT for the use of their woods and all Liz's hard work and enthusiasm. We also need to say thank you to Carole for her hard work and giving up her weekend to enable us to go. I want to say thank you to the children for their great attitude and behaviour and not waking up before 7am. It was a pleasure to take you away.

Collection of children from Key Stage 1 classes
Thursday, 19 November 2009
We have recently reviewed and revised our procedures with regard to the collection of children from Key Stage 1 classes at the end of the school day. A document outlining the procedures in full can be found in the KS1 documents section of the website. We would ask all parents of KS1 children to review that document.
Register to use the school website and win a bottle!

We have now got over 130 registered users of the school website but would like that number to be even higher in a bid to improve the flow of information between parents and school. Being a registered user allows us to contact you directly by email to inform you of updates to the site including information on the posting of the weekly newsletter etc.
When you register please provide information which will allow school to clearly identify the child you are connected with at school. This will make sure that your registration is processed as soon as possible.
To register simply click on the link at the bottom of the menu buttons on the front page of the website and follow the instructions.
Please encourage other parents that you are in contact with to register rather than simply viewing the site.
As an incentive to encourage registration we will enter the names of all registered users into a raffle to win a bottle of wine once the number of registered users reaches 200.
